Recently, Digital Lagoon had the pleasure of working with Mike Hammer Moving on a website redesign. Mike Hammer Moving has been serving the Kansas City area for over 30 years as a family owned moving company. With competitive pricing and an expert team, they specialize in making your residential or commercial move seamless.

The process started with the need for new branding, which included a logo redesign. The logo contains the same blue color scheme as the original but brighter blues were incorporated as a secondary color. An exaggerated slant was added to the overall logo graphic and name to give the effect of a moving truck driving by.

Once the new branding was approved, we moved forward with the website programming and design. Overall, the website includes a clean design and a navigation that is very user friendly. As you enter the homepage, it is a clear depiction of the services they offer. One of the most important features on the newly added navigation tab was the “Request A Quote”. Once a user clicks on this, they are directed to another page to fill out a quote form.

Throughout the website, designs of the slanted graphics were incorporated to mimic the logo and add consistency. Secondary colors were added such as a bright bronze for contrast. On the homepage, forms were added to each header photo with call-to-action graphics for the user to instantly view a section on the website.
