Digital Lagoon has had the privilege of working with Kansas City Electrical Supply Co. KCES needed an e-commerce site that included online product ordering capabilities. While diving deeper into the e-commerce implementation, there was a need to build a custom site from the ground up for all programming aspects to function correctly. After the site was completed, the customer was able to see the product selected and confirm pricing and quantity on hand. As well as place an order for delivery or pickup at either branch.

Digital Lagoon’s ability to work closely with Colin Hinkley, Outside Sales, and Steve McMahon, Systems Admin, of KCES, allowed for the development of a custom-built project management system specific to their needs. This application now allows users to create projects, and keep track of items including, sales, orders released, product shipment, employee hours, and any additional product needed to complete the project on time and in budget.

The system is now live and being tested with KCES customers and the sales team.
